Dan’s Summer Gig
June 25th, 2008Word has it Dan Humphrey nabbed a pretty good summer job. Instead of serving up lattes at Starbucks or folding shirts at J. Crew, Dan will be assisting famed Pulitzer-Prize-winning novelist Jeremiah Harris. I’m sure Dan’s piece in The New Yorker helped with that (I mean, how else did a boy from Brooklyn snag such a stellar gig?). Even though most of his duties will include walking a dog and making sure there’s Splenda and not Equal in Jeremiah’s coffee, we’re pretty certain Dan will learn a thing or two from such a famed writer. And maybe it can even help him with his own writing. Surely Dan must have a lot on his mind that would make for a good story…
I have some very upsetting news to report. Chuck Bass was finally spotted. And he wasn’t in Europe with Blair. He was in the Hamptons playing tennis with Nate. Now I’m very glad to report that Chuck and Nate are friends again. I mean it was like devastating when the two were at odds. But that doesn’t mean we’re not disappointed that Chuck wasn’t spotted in Europe. What the hell is going on? Do you think he ever showed in Tuscany? If he didn’t did he at least come up with a good enough excuse? We’re hoping this doesn’t mean it’s over for Chuck and Blair. Waldass didn’t even get a good run. Sadness.Summer Bummer
